International day against drug abuse
On 26th June, we celebrated international day against drug abuse through performing a short skit on drug abuse.
Drugs are substances that changes the way a person acts feel and behave. When drugs are taken in a form of overdose, the term drug abuse is labeled.
This short skit is about Rahul, who is very bright student and his life changes from a good student to a drug abusive person that gradually destroies his life and his family.
Scene 1: Rahul is woken up by his sister. He gets for his school. He is given extra pocket money by his mother which displeased his father. He overhead them bickering.
Scene 2: Rahul comes late to school. He was scolded by his teacher which disturbs him because he was already overthinking about what his father said.
On way back to his home, he meets his classmate and his drug supplier friend. Rahul was forced to take some drugs and was also given some extra drugs to take back at home.
Scene 3: Rahul is falling into drug abuse and is becoming distant from his family. He is now shortage of drugs which further makes him want to take more. So he started using his pocket money to get drugs.
Scene 4: After months of taking drugs, Rahul is now fully fallen into a drug abusive person and he wasted all his pocket money on drugs. Due to shortage of money, he started stealing items from his home and also from his neighbour.
Scene 5: As Rahul has now been caught stealing, his nwighbour calls police. The police officer was concerned because Rahul is still small. So he took him to the counselor instead of jail.
Scene 6: Rahul was taken to the counselor and he stayed in rehab for few months.
Now Rahul is getting better everyday.

Addiction is a family disease, one may use it but the whole family suffers.
If things go wrong, don't go with them.
Recovery is hard, regret is harder.
If you do drugs you will go to jail, and in jail drugs are really expensive.
